Baby Box

Today I picked up a box from Libero with stuff for Baby E.

Baby E is soon 6 month and it is because of that he gets this one.

Pull-up diapers, washclothes, bibs, lotion and washcreme, cd with lullabys and socks.

The rest of the day was just a "lazy day".

Btw. Im looking for this book. Anybody that knows where I can get it?

"Växa och upptäcka världen" - Hetty van de Rijt & Frans X Plooij

Long time since last update

It have been a long time since I updated my blog. Here it comes.

Wednsday we met the other mums for a cup of coffee. Very nice! We talked and had many good laughs.
Baby E had a swimming session where he "dived" for the first time. That means that I held him under his arms just like breast swimming. The I took eye contact and said "dive" and then gently put him under water for 2 seconds just like he should have taken a swim stroke and then up again. 2 times and he did good! He was not afraid and did not cry afterwards. Everything is on his terms. If he have a bad day - no dives.

Thursday we had a meeting with the doctor. After that we met up with J to fix new passports.

Friday we had another meeting with a doctor. 6 month control. Baby E is doing great. After that the grandparents picked us up and we went to see a exibithon of the paintings by Zorn. It was nice to see  the pictures!

On saturday it was time for a new swimming session. New dives. Baby E did great this time aswell and he seems to enjoy the divings - at least the swimming. We went to pick up the new passports that was complete.
After that the in-laws needed help with the computer.

Sunday was a cozy day. We was invited to see Baby E:s new cousin - Baby W. A cute baby boy. He slept the whole time and did not let anything wake him up - exept some food of course. A baby needs to eat sometimes. ;-)

Birthdaycounter Baby E 1 year

Mum group

It is time to see the mums and the little ones again! To bad that M and Baby I is sick. Yes, again! This time it is stomach flue. Poor hunnies!

After that Baby E has a swimming session ( he missed 2 sessions when we was in Thailand).

But now is Baby E sleeping so I have to make some phonecalls.

pictures from Thailand

I have promised you pictures from Thailand. Here they come.

Mean mosquitos

You find the same baby food all over the world!

Nice work! And this was the easy one! They made elephants too!

I love geckos!

A pink passport. Sorry to say that I cant keep it. It is an "emergency" passport.

35 degrees C in the air and 28 degrees in the sea. Tell me again, why do I stay in Sweden?

Back in Sweden

So we are back in Sweden. It is cold and dark. Not fun at all. We landed on saturday morning. The in-laws picked us up. The whole day we was tired and jetlagged. Sunday was a slow day, we really needed that to get back on track. Baby E is still on Bangkok time. But we slowly getting back. Today I will do some laundry and unpack all the bags. Later this week we have doctors appointments and the mum group are getting together for a cup of coffee. Very nice, I have been missing them (and the little ones).

Bangkok Airport

We are at Bangkok Airport. We have to wait 3.35 hours for the fligt. Or at least from when we arrive here from Krabi.
For you that havent been at this Airport, it is huge! Lots of fancy shops. Me wanna buy! Oh all the brands! The nice purses! I better close my eyes when I go by them!

Baby E is sleeping, we are sitting in the lounge and just relaxing, nice to get away from all the buzzing from all the people at the airport. I will show you some pictures later. Our flight from Bangkok to Frankfurt will take almost 12 hours. It will be early when we get to Frankfurt. And then we have to wait around 2 hours for the flight to Arlanda, Sweden. I hope we get some sleep during the night!

In 40 minutes

We will leave Nakara Longbeach Resort in 40 minutes for transfer to Krabi Airport. From there we will fly to Bankok. There we have to wait just over 3 hours for our flight to Frankfurt. From there to Arlanda, Sweden. I have heard that it is snow and - 6 degrees C. Can that be true? Here it is 33 degrees C and the sun is very hot. Just a nice breeze. I wanted to sit in the sun theese last hours, but it is to hot! If I could take a dip in the pool it wouldnt be a problem, but I cant pack a wet bikini and I dont have a shower. So I sit in the shade with my SO (he is also surfing) and a sleeping Baby E.

When I get home I will show you what the mean mosquitos have done, I will show you lots of pictures.

Dinner tonight

A day by the pool

I think I spend the day by the pool today. Its a hot day. Yesterday was not so hot and sunny so we went into Saladan to change a bikini. I will show you later! Baby E has this floating device that he sits in but he is a bit to small for it and almost lies in it instead but I dont think he cares. Anyway. It is soon time to go home.. or at least I think so. It is hard to keep track of the days when you dont have the news or a watch.

I will show you more pictures later. Right now Baby E wants some attention!

See you!

Saladan

It is crazy how many markets there is that sells the same kind of flip flops, dresses, shorts (Billabong), bikinis and snorkels. The list is endless. They have also many restaurants where you can eat seafood, you pick your "own" food from a tank.

Well. What have I done since I wrote the last time? Just relaxed in the sun. Bathing in the pool with Baby E. He got a new bathing ring where he sits in. Of course it is to big for him so he almost lies in it. But he likes to just sit in the water and look at the other bigger kids.

See you later! The mosquitose are killing me now.

Along the beach

My dinner yesterday with a glass of wine. Schnitzel with french fries and mushroomsauce.

After the dinnerel we walked along the beach. At a bar by the beach were some guys playing with fire. Really good show! It was to dark to take photograps so Im sorry that I cant show you any pictures.

I have to go now. A quick shower and then its proberly a trip to Saladan (we never went yesterday).

Soon time for breakfast

My boys are sleeping, Im up because Baby E woke me up at 7 and I cant go back to sleep. (it is 8.30 now). I have "booked" the seats on the beach (with an umbrella).

It is lovley to be up at 7. It is calm and you can hear the birds sing.

This is our little house. Almost at the beach and very close to the pool area.

Paradise

Another day in the sun. Today we just sat by the pool and relaxed.  Baby E enjoys to swim in the pool. The first day was scary, the older kids played, splashed water and yelled. Second day he just looked at them with big eyes.

We picked up the clean laundry and soon we will eat dinner. We havent decided if we want to eat at the hotel or if we want to go into Saladan for some shopping and dinner.

The dark comes very fast here. At six it is daylight and at seven it is very dark. You should see the sun sets! Beautiful!

Tomorrow I will have a massage, but I havent decided yet if I want an oil massage or a Thai massage. But Baby E wont have one.. but I bet the girls at the salong wants to give him one. They love kids here and always talks to the kids.

Well see you later and have a nice day.

Aussies

One of the first night at the hotel we sat down in the hotel restaurang to eat dinner. At the table next to us sat a young couple ( Anabel and Cam). Baby E sat and "talked" and laughed so much so the couple started to talk to us. They were from Melbourne, Australia and they told us about the flooding back home. I have totally missed that. Thats the beauty of beeing on holiday. No tv, no news paper and the internet sucks most of the time. Terrible with all the flooding. Not that it is the only diaster that have happend the last week.

Breakfast in Thailand

The breakfast is good. But the wiew is better. I can get use to see this every morning.

It was supposed to be rain and thunder yesterday, but guess what? It came during the night. Good let it rain when it is night, I want sun at day time.

Today I pampered myself with an oilmassage. I even fell asleep during the massage. I hope I wasnt snoring!

Tomorrow? More sun and bath. Pick up the laundry and just have a good time. I am thinking about the snow back home, and no I dont want to go back. Im fed up with all the snow, I dont like to wear all the clothes, and heavy boots. I want to wear nice dresses, nice shoes and I want it to be summer!

Dinner

A picture can say more than a thousand words.

Need I say more?

A flight to Thailand

The journey started on saturday. At Arlanda we the fligtht to Frankfurt. We borded the plane and found the seats. Baby E was calm and interested in everything. The plane took off and off we are!

In Frankfurt it was time to find the gate for Bankok. 10 hours on a plane. Lucky for us we had a bassinett. That is a crib for babies that you hang on the wall infront of you.

Baby E slept very well in this and mommy and daddy got some sleep aswell.

Lots of food and beverages was served, wine, beer and drinks. All you could drink.

In Bankok we found the flight to Krabi. Looong way to the gate.
We had ordered a taxi from the hotel to pick us up.

When we arrived to the hotel it was dark outside. We left the bags in the room and headed to the hotelrestaurang.

Just look at this. 30 degrees C. A bit chilly right?

More updates later.

Pizza

I have not been eating dairy for a long time since Baby E cant eat that. But now I can! The first pizza with cheese! Oh so good. I ate this before we went to Thailand.  How on earth can cheese be so good

Solar eclipse

Exactly at 9.32 today there were a eclipse. Me and Baby E watched it from the kitchen window.

Today we was at home and just sang, played and Baby E had some workout. I made some phonecalls.

I made some dinner for me and J, I deep fried falafel (I have no idea what they are called in english)

But to my suprise, guess what my dear SO brought home? Food from McDonalds. Niice.

Now we are going to his brother and give him some computerstuff (and maybe have a peek at the new cousin).

Preparation for Thailand

We are going to Thailand on sathurday.
Fun, fun , fun but that means lots of planning. Especilly when you have a little one. I have spent the morning with phonecalls. Storage of mail and new paper, midwife, bassinett on the flight and so on. Yesterday I wrote lists of things we have to pack so we dont forget important things that we cant buy when we are there.

Just to make you happy - a picture of me and Baby E.

Off we go to pic up things from the pharmacy and the midwife.

Cheers!

First day of the year

It is 2011. Lets see how many times I'm going to write 2010 before I learn that I'm supposed to write 2011. Anyhow. How was your New Years Eve? Me and my family have all a cold. Poor Baby E even had a fever. So yesterday we spent at home. A friend of mine was supposed to came by but she has a cold aswell! Everybody seems to have a cold.

Today we spend half day in bed and the other half in the couch.

Now its time for even more time in the couch after a nice dinner.
