I mitt eget paradis

It was a long time since I wrote here. Long days at work and lack of energy is the excuse.

I have lots of fun things to show you, but it have to wait for another day. Early day tomorrow. I have to get up at 5 am. And Im not a morning person! 5 is not a time to get out of bed - it is time to go to bed!

Anyway. I have the opportunity to be able to try out a nice flavour. I want to try them all! But I start with Tikka Masala, my favorite among indian food. Yummy! Kelda exotic sauce. I applied here.

I have been working for two weeks now. How on earth can I be so tired? It's not that I have a hard work!?

Anyway. We went to Ikea to buy some shelfs for Baby E:s warderob. He needs it! And our new bathroom cabinet have arrived! It lies in our living room and just waiting for us to have the time to put it where it should be.

A dear friend of mine is visiting me this weekend. Long time no see! She is bringing a birthday gift for Baby E. ( I know what it is!! ) I show you later, but Im sure Baby E is going to love it!

We have a birthday party to attend. A friend of Baby E turned 1 year old this week. We have bought a nice gift for him. I will show you later. (I cant show you now if Baby O is reading the blog. *joking*)

This is my second week at work. It feel real good to be back, but gosh Im tired!

Baby E is fine. He have two small rice grain in his upper jaw. He is standing up almost all the time and he walks 10 steps, falls on his bump and gets up. I must say that it feels a bit strange not to be at home and be with him and see the progress, but I get MMS from J.

Tomorrow is a day off so we are going to throw away some junk. Good to get rid of it!

After 14 month, Im back at work. Easy? Fun? Easy, well... Im very tired when I get home. And very fun to do something else. But I do miss my baby, but I know he's in good hands with his father.

We started to demolish our sandbox on saturday. The previous owner to this house had a sandbox in the back yard. We didnt want to keep that so we trashed it! Woohoo! Hard work I tell you! When we had taken away the wooden frame it was time to fill up the pit with dirt and put grass seeds there. We watered it and now the only thing we can do is to wait and see how the grass grow. (haha Im a funny girl!)

We ate the sunday dinner at some friends place. For apetizer we got shrimps on bread. Very tasty! mmmmm (mmm marabou). For main course : quinoa, tomatoes from the owen and fried halloumi cheese (goat cheese, good for frying - made in cypus). Mmmmm so tasty.

After that we just sat and talked. A very nice evening!

Now we have to hurry. We have lots of things to do as we are going on vacation on wedsday.

Yesterday we went to J:s work to grill. We went home early because we had an appointment with a guy that sells windows. We want to change the windows on the bottom floor before the winter so now we have had lots of appointments with companies that sells windows to check out how much it will cost.

Today I have to do some laundry and cleaning. Baby E is fine and he is babbling all day long. He got two theeth in both upper and lower jaw. Guess if he can bite?
It's nice when he takes a nap, because then I can get some time infront of the pc. I have lots of phonecalls to make today and some papers to write.

This morning was grey and it rained, now it is pretty sunny and the day looks like its gonna be a nice day. Maybe a trip to a playground. We'll see.

A called a friend yesterday to hear if she wanted to do something. She wanted to take a long walk. So, we met up and walked from where I live to Beckomberga, along the airfield down to Brommaplan. As we walked by the airfield I sa a little snake and said to my friend " oh, look a little snake". And she was gone! Oh my she ran. When she stopped and I caught up with her she told me she was afraid of snakes. Got to remember that, as I love snakes!

Did somebody say a long walk? I didnt have a pedometer with me I have no clue how far we walked, but for sure it was a looong walk. We should do that more often.

Today I have been to Baby E:s nurse just to check up the weight and tomorrow we have an appointment with the dietician to talk about how we should introuce milk to Baby E.

When it's hot - you spend the day at the beach or beside a pool. And if you are a baby, you better have a suit. We spend our friday at Kampementsbadet with F and Baby O.

Yesterday we was with J:s workteam and ate grilled hamburgers and sausages. It was very nice and Baby E loved the kids that was there. We went home before the rest of the team started to play rounders.

Today we spent the day in Blackebergs park, open pre-school grilled sausages. First there was a singing in the sandbox and after that we grilled. Babe E ate a whole sausage! He was so busy looking at all the kids that was running around that when we got home he was very tired. It was nice and sunny so we waded in the pool, Baby E had no swimmingpants so we couldnt sit in the pool.

If it's a warm sunny day tomorrow we might go to Nälsta swimming area to lie in the pool and if its a cloudy day we go to 4H nearby us.

Now that we have lived a couple of weeks in the house, we started to think about what we want with our house. What and if we want to change anything. The windows are not good, so we maybe have to change thoose. To do so we have to take in quotes to know what it will cost. We also want to change the front door. It is not cheap! Anyway. That's what I did yesterday.

Today? Not anymore quotes on the windows until thursday. But today I will take it slow, do some laundry and some other house choirs. Boring? Oh hell yes! The sun is peeping and I hope it will be a warm day. These last days have been a bit to chilly. Baby E is sleeping, the morning have been.. quite.. interesting. I woke up around 4 because Baby E was hungry. I woke up around 5.30 - and guess what the little boy had done? Ewww, just say that I had to change the sheets. Oh well, that what I have to get used to I guess.

What else?  Baby E is climbing on everything he can, so now I cant have moving boxes infront of the stairs anymore to prevent him from getting up and falling down. He just climbs over the box and up the stairs. Lucky for us, a neigbour have a stairgate that he promised us to have (his house looks like ours). Thanks for that! I have to get them today.

The weekend have been good. Saturday was a sunny day. Baby E:s godmother was here for some chat and see the pictures from USA. She is going there in 2 weeks.

On sunday came F and Baby O so the baby boys could play. Of course we did some barbequing aswell! It was not sunny and warm, but no rain.

Today I have to get an appointment with the doctor because  Baby E has lots of red dots all over. He is not sick, no fever or something but I want to check it out. When I first saw them yesterday there were many! Today not many at all so I think it is some kind of foodreaction. I hope is not allergy!

It's 8.30 and its already hot outside. Baby E woke up at 7.30 and didnt want to go back to sleep. I guess Im lucky that he sleeps that long!

Today we are going to spend the afternoon and the evening with Baby E:s godmother. BBQ and lots of pictures from NYC. Oh that reminds me, I have to go to the grocery store and buy something to put on the grill.


Oh well, Baby E has already eaten breakfast and now it is my turn, but first I have to wake up my beloved husband.

As we have moved to a house we want to do some home improvment. Today a guy from a window company came to look at the windows and make us an offer what it would cost to replace the old ones. That was 7.15. Early bird again!

Baby E is sleeping now and I have to start cleaning up this place. I have tons of clean laundry to put back into the warderob. I have to vacuum and mop the floor. I have to put all the recycling bags in the car. And I know - I will not make all that during Baby E:s nap. After that I'm going to go to the postoffice and send a package. I wanted to go to 4H today, but it is a dark grey sky so I think we stay at home. Maybe a trip to the Open pre school if I can. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to come and visit her today, but I have to much to do so I will go on monday.

I have to get going now, so much to do today!

Today I went up around 6.15 am to leave the car at the garage to fix some small things. After that it was breakfast time. The sun is already hot and I really need to do something about the lawn and the weed.
So. I grabbed the lawnmower and started to cut. Not easy with the least sharpest mower I know. When I was done I started to pull weeds and cut the tree and the bushes.

Now Im satisfied with the back garden. Oh well that was a lie. It is lots of things to do. But we are on our way. Our neighbour said that its gonna rain and be thunder tonight. Maybe tomorrow I can have a day inside and so some stuff there aswell.

Oh well, time for some tv now before I sleep.

It was time for midsummers eve on friday. Nothing special to do, and all your friends are buzy with other plans. What do you do? Lock yourself in? BBQ on a beach? Travel somewhere?

We did the last thing. We did travel. To New York City. The flight left on friday. Everything went well, the flights was a piece of cake.
We checked in at the hotel and went out for a late dinner. The next days was absolutley crazy. It was hot and we had to decide what we wanted to do for the next day. Many things had to be chosen away. So many things to do and so little time. And of course. We have Baby E. You cant run around town like crazy with a baby.

But I did do Empire State Building! Pics later! We also did Central Park (not Central Perk - like in Friends). Interpid, China Town, Staten Island Ferry (to se Statue of Liberty) and of course Time Square. Oh, all the performers!
Anyway. It was lovley. A big town - pizzaslice, garbage on the streets, Neonlights and a crazy amount of people in the same place.

I will try to post pictures later - they are all in the camera.

After a break I'm back.

I have lots to tell you, but that have to wait until tonight when Baby E is sleeping.
The reasons to the break was lack of energy and lots of pain in my wrist. But enough of that.

Just a short post. I have a lunchdate! A friend of mine had a baby girl for about a month ago. So cute. Today we are going to eat lunch together, oh well not the baby girl but Baby E is going to eat.

The weekend have been crazy. On friday a friend of mine came to visit us until sunday. On saturday it was time for our party.
We hurried to buy the last stuff. 6 stores and a refueling. Food, soft drinks, cake, extentions cord and  wine. Phu! Buzy buzy.

When we got home, we organised everything and then our guest started to come.

We ha a very nice time with good food, good drinks and lots of laughs! It was a hot day and I think everyone had a nice time. We sat outside until midnight.

Since it was both a birthday party and a moving party I got presents! And our guest sang for me. (The neighbours aske who's birthday it was, as they had heard people cheered).













I got flower, a braclet, serving, irish coffee and biscotti. Baby E also got a present! He got toy animals from the savannah.

Sunday was a lazy day. Not a hang over, but after a very nice party you need a rest. Unfortunately I couldnt post anything on sunday.

Today? The internet was down. Nothing until J came home and fixed it.
